Calvin Klein's CK One Color Water Fresh Face Makeup

Calvin Klein, or rather, his sub-brand CK has made some interesting releases into the cosmetic world the past few years but are they as unique as his clothing lines?
My first experience with CK One makeup was the CK One Mousse Concealer. Initially, I expected the Water Fresh Face Makeup to have a similar formula, but it's quite different.
CK One Water Fresh Makeup promises flawless coverage, all day hydration, and so on. I'll be totally honest and say that it was a complete bust as far as I was concerned.
The formula is similar to MAC's Mineralize foundation (the compact), with a very distinct texture that's difficult to explain, but this particular emollient formula retains a wet and almost tacky finish. Unlike MAC's Mineralize, CK One Water Fresh Makeup comes in only 6 shades and it does oxidize making it ill-suited for fair-light skintones.
A hydrating foundation should have ingredients which are easily absorbed into your skin so that it actually has a hydrating effect, but CK One Water Fresh retains its initial composition and remains tacky on your face.
If you can't tell by now, I'm not a huge fan of this at all. MAC's Mineralize Foundation is much better in almost every aspect and is the same price.
For a cruelty free option, try Mally's Ultimate Performance Professional Full Coverage Foundation!
