It is actually a dimethicone based cream product, much like Hard Candy's new Glamouflage Lite Concealer Duo and this changes the performance and features of the formula a bit which may be a positive or negative for you!

Here's the catch:
They're IDENTICAL products. One is a "QVC Exclusive" in name only. It's a fairly common strategy, to make one product and slap two different names on it. I'll eventually do a post on the worst marketing schemes by cosmetic companies, but this won't even make the list. Both "versions" sell for the same price, and its only important to know incase you're looking for your shade and one's sold out, or one is offering free shipping, etc.

Laura has concocted a system called "Four Steps to a Flawless Face," of which concealers are the third step I believe?  She makes two different types, this one, the secret concealer was originally available in 6 shades but it is now more like 8 or 9 and each shade is sold separately. They have a consistency very similar to petroleum jelly at first glance but don't be swayed by that, they really are a decent product!

First and foremost about this concealer, its name is absolutely ridiculously long! This is the cream compact which houses an emollient based concealer, not the standard Double Wear Stay in Place Concealer which is a typical long-lasting, liquid based formula.

They claim that this is a higher cover than their liquid version and that it will stay in place all day promising something like 12-15 hours of wear! Its sounding a little too good to be true...
