Estee Lauder Clear Difference BB Creme Complexion Correcting Beauty Balm SPF 35 has a name longer than Lauder's other Daywear or Doublewear BB Creams which can either mean it's really a multi-tasking miracle OR it's just a tinted moisturizer (BB Cream) with an identity crisis...
Estee Lauder added the Clear Difference Complexion Correcting BB Cream to their Clear Difference skincare line with the hope that they can convince customers to use "the whole collection" for clearly different skin. The thing is, that if you already use any of the other Estee Lauder Clear Difference products, you certainly don't need this BB Cream because there are no proven acne fighting ingredients in it!

Estee Lauder did include lemon extract and rosemary which according to Paula's Choice "are a toss-up for skin" because while they can have some anti-inflammatory properties, they also have some irritating properties and can make acne worse.
Many Estee Lauder counter sales associates seem to think that the Clear Complexion BB Cream actually has Salicylic Acid in it or another "active ingredient", but it doesn't so it won't provide any additional benefits for acne-prone skin; (unlike competitors like Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream which actually has Salicylic Acid in it.)
As for the performance of the Clear Difference BB Cream, it's average. There's nothing great about it. The three shades are alright for light-deeper tan skin but definitely not for far or very deep skin.
Estee Lauder claims that Clear Difference BB Cream has oil control properties, but those are outweigh heavily by the satiny finish and moisturizing properties making this a better bet for normal or dry skin than oily.
