Draw Barymore's new brand Flower Beauty, promises to be "high-end quality makeup at drugstore prices." Her initial launch included a BB Cream, a Tinted Moisturizer and a Foundation Stick. So how does her sole Liquid Foundation stack up? Keep Reading to find out!

Flower Beauty's About Face Foundation, is actually a fabulous addition to the typical drugstore line up. It is initially on the thicker side, and the main ingredients are moisturizing ones, yet despite the first-impression-tacky-finish you may expect, it sets to a surprisingly natural matte finish!

It comes in a glass bottle with a pump, which functions very well, and it is very blendable, but may take a few tries playing around with it to get the hang of it because its not typical of a silicone based foundation, or an emollient one, but once you get used to it, its extremely easy to use and a pleasure to work with, while delivering light-buildable moderate coverage with minimal effort!

About Face Foundation is available in a very impressive 14 shades which will suit fair-deep skintones. I wear it in AF2, but, I could actually get away with AF1-AF4 without a problem. (That's always sad, when I can match myself to more than three shades in one line, and don't have a match in so many.) Those who are porcelain may be better off with here Skincognito Foundation Stick, and those who are are very very deep skinned may want to try the Flower BB Cream for the best shade match, but the shade range still far surpasses many high end brands!

This is definitely a little bit different than your standard foundation, but surely worth a try! Just take care to blend somewhat quickly as it does set itself (although not nearly as fast as some long-wearing formulas do!)

Now head over to Walmart & support a brand new, Made in America, CRUELTY FREE makeup line that costs only $12! (Does it get any better?)

  2. On the basis of coverage, those with oily but flawless skin can apply a powder or serum foundation since it gives a sheer coverage, while oily skin that has enlarged pores or blemishes should go for heavy/ high coverage face foundation
