Laura Geller's first try at the whole CC Craze is an interesting looking concoction at the very least. When you have something that's this out of the ordinary you know that it's either going to be a huge success or a major bust, but you'll have to keep reading to see where Laura's CC Compact falls!
I don't think I can contain my exceitment. I LOVE this foundation. I absolutely adore everything about it!
The swirls really serve little purpose, so don't let those scare you, and the shades themselves apply lighter than they look in the conpact, but the shades are brilliantly chosen for a brightening product like this. Both light & medium have a mild peach undertone which is actually quite naturall looking once applied and should work equally well for those with neutral, pink, or yellow undertones, but those with Olive toned skin may not have much luck with any shade other than "Tan" which is suppossed to be for olive skintones.
As for Light and Medium, they really are better suited for Fair- Light Medium skin. My perfect match would be somewhere between the two, but I can use either alone or use them together for highlighting and contouring of the effortless nature and most people with up to medium toned skin will probably have the same results.
The finish is absolutely spectacular and its not too drying and not too oily making It perfect for those with normal-slightly dry-slightly oily skin.
Laura Geller CC creme Compact works equally well under foundation or when worn alone for a day look and the formula is actually a lighter weight than most primers. The SPF of 25 is a great addition and because its not liquid you'll minimize the chance of getting any irritating ingredients in your eyes.
The slip level is great and coverage can go up to medium which is exceptionally impressive if you plan to use this under a foundation. the one thing that you should note is that this doesn't have a boatload of skincare in it so don't skip your normal regimine, but so pick this one up if you can find a match!
