Too Faced Absolutely Flawless Concealer is a typical emollient based concealer which promises to deliver "flexible" coverage that moves with you and won't crease or slip out of place throughout the day.

For the most part, the Absolutely Flawless Concealer does live up to these claims. It is a very pigmented concealer which can easily achieve light-full coverage with very little effort on the part of the user. This attribute is owed to the easily blendable, emollient formula which, by nature will give you some level of water resistance (provided you don't rub it!)

The flexible part of the claim will remain truer for those who don't set it with powder. Those who chose to set it will experience a semi-matte finish (depending on the powder)and will find that it lasts the better part of the day with minimal creasing or cracking. Needless to say, that because of its moisturizing nature, this will certainly work better for those with dry skin.

Those with oily skin will certainly need to set it with powder. Those with normal skin will experience somewhere in the middle of the two. If you chose to wear it alone, and in a sheer layer, you may find that your skin absorbs most of the oils and leaves you with a demi-matte or satin finish all on its own, however if you apply alot, this will undoubtedly leave a dewy finish.

Absolutely Flawless Concealer is available in 3 shades which suit light to medium/tan skintones. Very fair skinned people may find that Vanilla Light is too yellow, and Tan skinned people may find Honey is too fair. Perfect Nude however, is a great shade that's relatively neutral and will match many medium skinned people perfectly.

All in all, Too Faced Absolutely Flawless concealer is definitely a positive addition to their line up and a great cruelty free option for those who have dry skin and find thicker options like Laura Mercier High Coverage Concealer too heavy.

The Absolutely Flawless formula is actually somewhat similar to Laura Geller's new Creaseless Concealer Line Smoothing Pen, (and so is the shade range) but Laura's Creaseless is a much thinner formula and will set to a semi-matte finish so its probably a better option for oily or blemish prone skin. If you can't find a match within these shades, I would suggest trying Tarte's Marcuja Full Cover Concealer, or Stila Perfecting Concealer for a liquid emollient, Cruelty Free Concealer!

Another option for those on a budget is the Original Hard Candy Heavy Duty Glamoflauge Concealer. The formula may not be as elegant, but it is still a great concealer with formidable coverage (and its Cruelty Free!)
