Wet 'n Wild has recently released their new Come Correct Concealer which is a part of Fergie's "Glam-Maker" collection.

Let's face it; Wet 'n Wild has never really excelled with concealers like they do with eye & lip color. Up until now, the only concealers in their stable were the CoverAll Concealer Stick & the CoverAll Liquid Wand Concealer. 

Both of these concealers leave something to be desired so I think that my initial skepticism was warranted when I saw the new Come Correct Concealer.

Luckily, (for those of us who have been waiting for this type of concealer to be available in drugstores), I have never been happier to report just how wrong my initial impressions were!

Come Correct promises celebrity worthy results & ultimate full coverage for under-eye darkness and it achieves both of these brilliantly, BUT, even the most perfect product isn't for everyone...

Kat Von D Lock It Tattoo Concealer was one of the first products in the Kat Von D cosmetic line, a (Sephora exclusive,) collection of high pigment, high intensity, high performing products that are so simple to use anyone can achieve professional results. Needless to say, Kat Von D is an extremely talented artist and, although it may not be everyone's style, she manages to make a masterpiece out of her face everyday (at least when she's on camera.)

Stila Perfecting Concealer is a great example of your typical emollient based "grease paint" concealer. Thicker than formulas like E.L.F Maximum Coverage Concealer or Laura Geller's Real Deal concealer which are emollient based but thinner than Stila Perfecting Concealer.

The Perfecting Concealer is close to Tarte's Creaseless Marcuja Concealer, or It Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer,  but those are much thicker. I would say it is most akin to  Too Faced Absolutely Flawless Flexible Concealer. These formulas are not self setting, meaning that if you have oily skin, you will most definitely have to set them with powder, if you have normal to dry skin, you may have to set them depending on your skin & the climate of where you live.

Here's the catch:
They're IDENTICAL products. One is a "QVC Exclusive" in name only. It's a fairly common strategy, to make one product and slap two different names on it. I'll eventually do a post on the worst marketing schemes by cosmetic companies, but this won't even make the list. Both "versions" sell for the same price, and its only important to know incase you're looking for your shade and one's sold out, or one is offering free shipping, etc.
